I will never forget my time in college and will always think back on those years are some of the most memorable times in my life.  It is said that all good things must come to an end and this was no different.  After all, in addition to being a great time it was expensive and I needed to start working so I could pay off the bills.  Staying in school to get my masters degree just wasn't going to happen for me.  Like many professions there mine was one that had limited potential with only a bachelors degree so I turned my attention to the internet and starting researching ways to get a masters degree online.

I knew some people at work that are working towards a masters degree online. I have heard of online Master degree programs, of course, but I had assumed there was not much to them. I never seriously looked into them, you see. Everyone hears a story is now and then about some of the paper mills that offer spurious masters degrees online that aren't worth the paper they're printed on. What get less press, however, are all of the legitimate institutions where you really can get an online college degree.

You see, masters degree online – just like regular Masters degree programs – vary greatly in their details. There are quite a few intelligent, well-educated adults out there who simply don't have time to go to classes full-time.  The best Masters degree online programs are geared towards these professionals. They offer a certification that is worth something – something that will be respected by any potential future employers. It takes hard work and dedication to get through the classes, but if you are willing to put in the effort you can reap the rewards.

Honestly, I think that my masters degree online might have been harder than my undergraduate work was. There was less to do, of course, but I had to fit it into my busy schedule. I really worked to get that degree, and the rewards were tangible. Soon, I was getting job offers far beyond what I had been qualified to do before. I was making more money, having a more rewarding career, and in general just enjoy myself better. When I look back on it, it was worth all the work. I feel like I'm finally moving somewhere in my life.
